Two things stand out. The entry price for a real inbound number runs from about $3 to $19 a month, and the gap is mostly billing cycle and bundling, not the number itself. And the free-tier column matters: only Faxify (25 pages) and Fax.Plus (10 pages) give a recurring monthly free allowance you could use to receive the occasional fax-back; eFax and MyFax have none, and HelloFax's "free" is a one-time 5-page quota. • You need to fax outside the US and Canada. Faxify covers North America only. For international sending and receiving, Fax.Plus has broader country coverage.
• You're a very high-volume sender. Faxify's top published tier is 2,000 pages a month. Past that, RingCentral Fax's high-volume plans fit better, or ask us about custom pricing.
• You need a shared team number with multiple logins. Faxify accounts are single-user today. A team that needs several people on one fax number with separate seats should look at HelloFax/Dropbox Fax or a RingCentral plan.
• You need a signed BAA on a published, self-serve tier. Faxify routes through SignalWire's HIPAA-eligible carrier infrastructure with BAA coverage, but no standard Faxify plan ships you a BAA, so HIPAA workflows go through a custom business plan.
